Homemade Frigate of Myanmar Navy with assistance from China
Myanmar Navy constructed two Frigate in Myanmar Naval Dockyard with design and technology assistance from China.
China Designed two Frigate F12 - Kyansittha and F14 - Sinbyushin and One Fast Attack Craft FAC-491 for Myanmar Navy.
The deal was signed in 2010. In 2014 Myanmar Navy commissioned those Two Frigates.
Displacement : 3000 tons
1× Oto Melara 76 mm Super Rapid Cannons
4 x AK-630 6-barrel 30 mm CIWS guns
6 × SA-N-5 SAM
8 x Kh-35E anti-ship missiles
Triple 324 mm YU-7 ASW torpedoes
Sensors:
Chinese Type 362 missile-targeting radar
2 x Type 47 series fire control raders
BEL HMS-X hull mounted sonar
