Durjoy Class corvette is the semi stealth corvette of Bangladesh Navy


The Durjoy class consists of two corvettes built for the Bangladesh Navy, designed in response to the Government of Bangladesh's long term plan of modernizing the armed forces of Bangladesh to make it a three-dimensional deterrent force.
The ship was built by Wuchang Shipyard in China. The ship is of 64 meter length with a displacement of 650 tonnes with a Bulbous bow suggests these ships are to patrol the vast sea area of Bangladesh. The design also suggests the ships are very stable in heavy seas and has speed and range to support long missions. A JRCSS combat management system (CMS) with at least three multifunction consoles is fitted. The LPC are powered by triple Pielstick diesels driving three screws for a top speed of 28 knots. Range is 2500 nautical miles (nm) and endurance with a crew of 60 is 15 days. According to CSOC officials speaking to Defense Media Network at LIMA 2013, these are cost-effective warships, able to perform strike missions at ranges of about 40 kilometers.

SR-60 search radar is a version of Type 360 air search radar.
ESS-3 bow mounted sonar has a detection range of 35 Km

 Bangladesh Navy has a plan of 8 ships and 4 of them will be made in Khulna Shipward.

Pakistan Navy also uses 550 ton First Attack Craft  (FAC) Missile PNS Azmat Class
Azmat class FAC are armed with 8 C-802A missile of 189 km range while Bangladesh Navy's Durjoy Class C-704 has 35km only.
