During the meeting, the two chiefs discussed various issues related to bilateral cooperation and mutual interest based on marine safety and security, an ISPR press release said here today.
Earlier on his arrival at the navy headquarters, the neighbour country's Navy chief was given a guard of honour by a smart contingent of Bangladesh Navy.
Later, the Myanmar Navy Chief paid a courtesy call on Chief of Army staff, Chief of Air Staff and Principal Staff Officer of Armed Forces Division at the Dhaka Cantonment.
Admiral Swe also visited Bangabandhu Memorial Museum in the capital this afternoon.
The Myanmar Navy Chief paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday after his arrival here.
He is also scheduled to pay courtesy call on President Abdul Hamid during his five-day visit here.
The Myanmar Navy Chief will leave Dhaka on May 8.
