Myanmar Air Force has received total 32 Mig-29 from Russia during 2001-2012.

MiG-29 Fulcrum , along with the larger Sukhoi Su-27, was developed to counter new American fighters such as the McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle, and the General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon.

Mig-29s of Myanmar are Armed with R-77 BVR Missile and R-27 Air to Air Missile

After almost 10 years myanmar bought another 20 Mig-29B with a price tag of $570 Million.
Over 100 R-77 BVR Missile were also bought to armed the Migs.
